Our DHEA 5 supplies 5 mg of pure dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) hormone. Our formulation is in a 99.5% pure form. DHEA is an important hormone produced by the adrenal glands of both males and females, and it is called the “Mother of all Hormones” because it is one of the most abundant hormones in the body and it serves as a precursor to other vital hormones in the body, such as estrogen, testosterone, and progesterone. Levels of DHEA drop off dramatically after age 30 and when this happens an individual can experience numerous symptoms like decreased mood, deceased energy, and decrease libido, to name a few. It can be tested in the blood by any medical providers.
